Garage Passyunk: Your Go-To Sports Bar in Philadelphia

This is a cool place. I've been here twice. I like it better in the summer when they have the garage door open. The beer list is huge. I'm a beer guy and I got a little overwhelmed looking at it, but I managed to find something. I found that the bartender's were very attentive. Within a few minutes of getting to the bar, one of them would hold out a Beer Bible so you could peruse their selection. I went on a Friday night and it is a very young trendy crowd. I wouldn't call it full on hipster, but there was a lot of flannel and beards. I felt like I could have been the oldest person there at 30. There is ski ball in the back which is fun to participate in. The music started out as rap/hip hop then changed to 90s pop. It was a little loud for my old man ears but we could still converse. I'd go back of I were in the area. They definitely have a unique selection of beers that aren't prevalent at most establishments.

Nice neighborhood bar with excellent bartenders. Got a drink pouch and sat at one of the high tops. They have games at the back including ski ball. Located in an incredible neighborhood and is definitely a vibe.

Came here for an Eagles game and this place was a VIBE. The bag drinks were really good and the prices overall were very reasonable. It was super packed but it made for a fun time. Definitely recommend if you’re in town during a football game!

The Garage is BYOF — bring your own food — which is great with the iconic King’s Cheesesteaks and Geno’s right across the street. Great atmosphere whether you’re rolling in with a group or just stopping by solo for a Philly experience. Perfect spot to catch a Phillies, Eagles, or Flyers game.

Super fun bar! You’re able to bring your cheesesteaks in from across the street. I had the bartender make me a special drink. They made me a pineapple upside down cake cocktail (cake vodka, grenadine, and pineapple juice. YOURE WELCOME) it was SO good, and a drink you can’t even taste the alcohol in. The fun bag was pretty cool and something I’ve never seen before. Taste just like cherry koolaid. Fun spot I would def recommend for a night out.

Fun little dive bar with a huge beer list, ski ball, and pool. I usually come for the food though. They have a built in food truck. The vibes here are super fun and they always have some form of a sports game on too.

GO BIRDS best place for games, bring in your own food, they have a little food truck inside u can buy food at too! Great DJ every time we have been here too!

Nice clean bar. There’s security guard at the door to check ID’s. There is no kitchen but there does seem to be a food truck in the building (it wasn’t operating when I was there. It may just be for show). The bar is owned by Geno’s which is located across the street. You’re allowed to bring food in and eat and grab a beer. They have a large selection of beer including a good selection of non-alcoholic craft brews from Athletic brewing. There are skew-ball machines and a pool table. The bartenders were very nice. Overall it was a good experience. The beer was expensive as expected but what isn’t expensive these days. Overall score 26/30.
